I recently started insurance with Fred loya out of convenience. It was 7pm and I needed to get my car off the lot.

I was told that it would cost $320 to start. I immediately asked why so much and the agent told me, its what we charge. I admit I have some blame on myself, but if you ask someone what are you paying for they should tell you. After I got home and had a chance to look at the policy, I was charged $190 for roadside service, that i was never given the opportunity to turn down.

Not to mention that this is a service that I would have rejected, the kicker. Bold print non-refundable.

$320 to start $130 monthly. I have gotten other quotes $180 to start $90 per month, switching immediately.

Location: El Paso, Texas

Ok. To all of you.

I have.been working at FL going on three years now. I'm 22 & know more than alot of other agents. First of all, we do not charge deposits or down payments in the office. If you are buying insurance from a Outside Dealer then you are looking at their own fees.

Working as an agent in the office there is not commission. Each office had goals and needs to hit them.... But has nothing to do with taking your money. We do ask for first payment then 15 days later your second payment....

After the second payment then its every month. Ex: its Jan 31 st and you gave initial payment, on the 15th of Feb your next payment is due. But then payments are due every 15th of.each month! Because we collect second payment in advance 15 days your always going to be paid up those days.

If your forget or can't give your payment on time you are.giving yourself an additional 15 days to pay your payment with insurance on your vehicles still. Instead of writing ruthless comments call the office MAIN OFFICES and spiral to a knowledgeable agent.

8) They get paid commision so yes they will sell sell sell. Insurance agent have to pass an Ethics exam along with other exams for the Insurance License.

But that does not mean all agents follow the ethics rule. Try contacting the dept of insurance in your state to see if you can make a complaint.

Loya has offices in many states and cities, so where are they local? El Paso!

Hey, Fred Loya employee, that's professional! Way to go on proving that your company is full of idiots who don't know what they're doing!

I just got a policy last month for 3 cars, full coverage. I had to pay 300 down and then 15 days later pay another 300 for the monthly fee.

And it came with roadside assit. So, fred loyla employee, you dont seem very knowledgeable

To the comment posted from Fred Loya employee. The insurance was purchased from a mobile Fred Loya Agent, which do charge a downpayment and do offer the roadside assistance.

Please know your info.

before you post comments. Just goes to show you why this company is no good, there own employees don't even know what their doing.
