I am upset due to the fact that if you do not pay your monthly insurance premium and your vehicle gets stolen, wrecked, etc. Fred Loya will not cover your claim, no number of days grace period is given.

I have been a loyal customer for 2 years and never missed a payment due to automatic draft. Funds were not available at the time, due to other monies had not arrived into my account. Well guess what? Six days later my vehicle was stolen while I was out of town visiting family, about $1500 worth of damage.

I argued and spoke with the manager where I purchased the insurance and that manager said that they could not proceeed with a claim. Finally, I got somewhere with the claims manager and I filled out forms and notarized forms, so the claims manager can review my claim. Well they denied my claim due to insurance premium was not paid. I signed up with Fred Loya to save money being a single mom and they are always advertising how they can save you money and assist their customers.

BULL!!!!!

As they say you "You get what you pay for". In the long run it's best to pay more money for a better insurance agency who does care about their loya clients and give great service to their custome

Okay, so your complaint is that she wants services for something she didn't pay for? In other words, she'd like her damages to be paid-for using insurance she didn't have because she was too irresponsible to make arrangements for her payment to be made before the cancellation date.

Ridiculous. Insurance terms are a 30-day period that you must for in advance in order to protect you in the event something happens WITHIN those 30 days.

Imagine if every insurance company was expected to pay out on claims that their customer did not pay to be covered for on the assumption that they are "loyal" customers. They'd all go broke and at a minimum, insurance rates for everyone else would go up.

:cry ohh please. I am an instructor for P&C insurance lines of authority.

If you do not pay your premium, they have to send you a 10-day notice of cancellation by law. There is no such thing as a grace period. I would contact your state's department of insurance.

They will advise you the same. :grin
